Scandinavian roadtrip

We started the trip in Copenhagen and went to the IMG_1962city tower to get a nice overview of the city. Then we drove over the bridge connecting Copenhagen with Malmø. There is a Swedish/Danish TV-series called “Broen” which I really like, so it was especially cool to drive over that bridge.

The building below is called the Twisting Torso, and is one of the first things you notice in Malmø. IMG_2012

We drove onwards towards Stockholm, following the Göta channel. I really recommend driving and stopping to watch it. Everywhere we went was beautiful!

We arrived in Stockholm and went to the modern museum of art. I must say I was a little bit disappointed in the selection there… Maybe I was just unlucky with the timing. Anyway, Stockholm is a wonderful city, now I understand why so many people talk about it!IMG_2072   IMG_2083

These birds were walking outside the museum. What I found interesting is that a lot of museums are placed on a small island!

There were tons of long and beautiful beaches a long the way. Some nights we just parked the car in one of the camping spots there so we could wake up and take a lovely swim once we woke up in the morning! We also made coffee in the car, so it was really convenient and cozy.

This is in Trollhättan. Two times a week they open the water gates and the whole path is flooded! It was really crazy to watch.

These last two pictures our friend from France took. It is from our last days of the holiday which we spent in a camping place in Møn. There you can again find beautiful beaches made of white chalk, woods to go for walks, lovely service and incredible night skies.IMG_2343
